THE COLONY HOTEL REOPENS IT S DOORS WITH A NEW IMAGE Special covering, October 25, 2008. |
October 25, about 5:35 PM, with the arrival of the first group of divers of the Blue Diving travel agency, has the emblematic Colony Hotel reopened its doors.
The Hotel Lobby totally characterized by its width and its sea view received important changes in the ceiling, decoration, paintings, wooden marquetry, modification of the reception area and the store, respecting its historical Painting that recreates the corsairs and pirates histories
In the external areas gardening, painting and the pool were improved, and the works on Snack Bar and the Sábalo Bar are being concluded in the course of this week
31 Italian divers of the Blue Diving Travel Agency, participants of the Indians Route which will stay for 5 days to carry out immersions in Punta Frances area, were the first visitors, which were received with music, dance and a refreshing welcome cocktail.
December 31st, celebrating its 50 anniversary the second stage of remodeling of this hotel will culminate with the termination of another important group of rooms, concluding the works in the month of March during the celebrations of the submarine picture event FOTOSUB COLONY 2009.
