Jones´ Jungle: an earthly paradise in Isla de la Juventud

The idea that the paradise is not in heaven but in the woods of Jones´Jungle is very precise. The extension of protected nature, located in the 2½ km of El enlace road , before reaching Santa Fe, second village in the special municipality of Isla de la Juventud, is for all visiting it a real beauty.

Some of the plans of the project that gave life to this estate on May 14, 1998, are today materialized as part of the environment. It features services of gastronomy in freely convertible currency, as well as a tour of the areas. It also offers the possibility to work and study centers to perform recreation activities.

It is planned to retake the ancient rides by coach among the jungle and the healh baths in Santa Fe, horse renting, rebuilding of Jones´ dwelling, founders of the splendid landscape that shall work as an echologic restaurant and museum. But undoubtedly the most cherished dream is that of building a natural pool by dragging the river.

All this will complement the materialization of this pintoresque place, and have it again as it used to be in 1958, the most visited place in Cuba. Visiting this eden, is an unforgettable experience, because you don´t only have direct contact with nature, but it is also the perfect place to spend a day of peace and stillness.
